Day 6*: Off
Day 7**: Repeat.
*Cardio can be added in an off day; usually 30 minutes of stair-master.
** If cardio was done day prior, then day 7 is off.
Off season: Medium to High protein, high carb, medium to high fat.
On Season (contest prep): Very high protein, medium to low carb, zero to low fat.
Please list your achievements?
2009: Won the University and Collegiate Nationals in Egypt, being the first one in the American University in Cairo to ever get a gold medal.
2011: Competed in my IFBB amateur show – IFBB Sultanate of Oman Nationals; Placed 4th.
How and why did you get into bodybuilding?
I used to draw since I was 4. When I was 13 I was introduced by a friend to dragonball Z. I began drawing my own comics and characters. Eventually I got so into the story I was writing, I decided to look like the characters I was drawing. At first I took on boxing for 2 years when I was 16. I had suffered many injuries, so I went to the gym to build some strength and muscle around that area. My body seemed to respond pretty well to the weights. And Being light boned with small joints, it seemed to be the perfect sport for me.
What competition do you plan on attending next?
2012 Quebec West Regional’s, then the Provincials, then the 2012 CBBF Canadian Nationals.
What would be your biggest dream to be able to achieve?
To win the 202, now 212, Olympia Championship.
What keeps you motivated and working hard in the gym?
I simply enjoy hard workouts. I don’t need motivation doing something I love doing.
Do you eat much junk food, if so how often?
I eat a lot of junk food.
Allot of us out there love a good drink of alcohol from time to time, do you ever drink, if so how often?
If you could pick only one supplement what would it be? (Not protein as you can get that from foods easily)
If you could pick only 3 different body parts to put on your body from 3 other people, what would they be and why?
Calves from Dorian Yates, thighs from Ronnie Coleman, and arms from Lee Priest.
Calves and thighs by Dorian and Ronnie, well, just look at them, I don’t think I need a reason why I’d want them. Arms by lee priest because he has that combination of maturity and dryness, fullness, and all that with a good peak as well.
Who do you look up to and why?
Muhammad Ali. Why? Because he’s the greatest thing that ever happened to sports.
What is your favourite motivation picture online and why?
The picture says it all, really. His face expression against his opponent and the rest of the world’s doubt against him. An epic moment, from an epic man.
What is your favourite video of yourself at this time and why?
I like this last video because I enjoy seeing how much I’ve improved within a matter of weeks. Plus my editing skills in this video was pretty cool ?
