I workout 5-6 days a week. For each workout, I focus primarily on one muscle group along with sprint interval training or plyometrics for my cardio
A lot of other women look up to you, who do you look up to?
There are several women I look up to in this industry. My trainer – Shannon Lynch, Jamie Eason and Chady Dunmore to name a few. Because not only do each of them work hard for their amazing physiques, they also have a good head on their shoulders.
Your favourite food?
Definitely chicken, sometimes I even eat it twice a day. I don’t think I could ever get sick of it!
What’s your best music to workout to?
It always has and always will be the one and only Britney Spears, she’s like my second wind lol.
Do you eat any of what people call junk food? If so how often?
My diet is for the most part very clean, but like anyone else in this industry, sometimes you just have to veer your diet off track to remind yourself, and your stomach why you don’t eat junk food.
Do you drink alcohol? If so how often?
The last time I drank was on New Years, It’s June 22nd now.. So give or take twice a year? Probably why my tolerance is so low haha.
What would an example be of your diet you eat day to day?
Breakfast: 1 egg with 1 ½ cup egg whites, 1 Ezekiel whole wheat English muffin
Snack: ½ Mango, ½ cup low fat greek yogurt
Lunch: Greek salad with grilled chicken, 2 tbsp crumbled feta, cherry tomato’s. ½ cup strawberries, ½ cup blueberries (I like to add fruit to most of my salads for more flavour) and ¼ cup almonds or pecans.
Snack: Whey Protein Shake, always home made never store bought.
Dinner: Salmon with 4oz sweet potato and a green vegetable like broccoli or asparagus.
Snack: I don’t eat foods high in fat at night so I usually eat a raw vegetables with low fat/low sodium hummus
If you could pick only 3 different body parts to put on your body from 3 other people, what would they be and why?
I’m a firm believer in working with and being content with what god gave you instead of comparing yourself to others. In saying that, Three body parts I do focus on are my glutes, quads and deltoids because they are, for me, the hardest muscle groups to develop.
What are your 1st and 2nd biggest achievements in life so far?
In no particular order: Winning my WBFF Pro card three years ahead of my goal and earning my degree in journalism.
What is your main goal in life?
My main goal is to keep on doing what I love and to inspire and teach others how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
