Currently 2 days on and 1 day off using POWER/REP RANGE/SHOCK and FIBER DAMAGE/FIBER SATURATION training methods.
Generally 6-7 meals per day. Protein always around 330-360 grams per day. Carbohydrates are cycled throughout the week and can be as high as 200 grams and as low as 60. Fats are moderate and mostly from EFA’s.
When and why did you get started?
I got started in my late teens and it was because I always idolized the physiques of “superheroes” and had an appreciation for muscle. I was EXTREMELY skinny myself and just wanted to “get big.” I wanted to look like a superhero but could not be farther from it, so I turned to bodybuilding. This is when my best friend, Mitchell, and I set up a home gym and starting training!
Achievements so far?
-Earned drug-free natural bodybuilding professional status.
-I am an NGA competition judge and member of their advisory board.
-Have had (or have) regular columns in Iron Man, Planet Muscle, Natural Muscle, and Muscular Development magazines (with articles also printed in several more).
-Invented two training systems used worldwide by tens of thousands of bodybuilders and athletes: POWER-REP RANGE-SHOCK and FIBER DAMAGE/FIBER SATURATION.
-Have written (or co-written) four popular bodybuilding books:
• The PRRS Training Method E-Book
• The FDFS Training Method E-Book
• The Alpha Male Advanced Workouts E-Book
• Building the Perfect Beast Naturally
-Appeared on the cover of the October edition of Iron Man magazine
-I am the Head of Social Media for All American EFX Sports as well as Editor and Chief of their online newsletter.
-I am the star of the new fitness/reality series called “Natural Body.”
What competitions do you plan on going in for next?
Likely, the NPC Iron Man Naturally in January of 2012. Also, the 2012 Cronus: Gods of the Stage, which I was selected to compete in this year, but had to pull out for medical reasons. There is a possibility I will do the NPC Team Universe and/or the NGA Pro Universe.
What would be your biggest dream to be able to achieve?
To help as many people in the world achieve THEIR goals, while living a happy and comfortable life myself continuing to contribute to the sport/pursuit I love.
Do you ever struggle to stick to your diet and eat lots of junk food?
I rarely struggle as I have tremendous discipline. When I decide I need to “diet,” nothing can throw me off my game. However, when not preparing for something specific, I will certainly have the occasional cheat meal to satisfy any cravings.
Allot of us out there love a good drink of alcohol from time to time, do you ever drink, if so how often?
Fun fact about Eric Broser: I have never had a drop of alcohol in my entire life!
If you could pick only one supplement what would it be? (Not protein as you can get that from foods easily)
Likely if I had to choose only one it would be creatine.

Pizza by a landslide! But for my normal diet I like my girlfriend Robyn’s tilapia!
If you could pick only 3 different body parts to put on your body from 3 famous people, what would they be and why?
-Ronnie Coleman’s back, because it was the best ever.
-Dorian’s calves because mine suck and his were amazing!
-Kevin Levrone’s triceps or shoulders because his tris were just wicked, or his shoulders because I need a huge pair of boulders to match my chest, LOL.
Who do you look up to these days and why?
While I definitely have certain scientists, bodybuilders and trainers that I look to for knowledge and motivation the people I REALLY look up to these days are those who selflessly look to help others. Those people that know exactly who they are, own it, and always have faith in their path. Those people who, without even really trying, have a positive effect on the world, even if just on a small scale, every day single day.
Your top 3 tips to someone that might be just starting out bodybuilding?
1. Read, research, learn! You can never have too much knowledge!
2. Pursue bodybuilding with all the heart and passion you can muster, but do NOT let it rule your entire life! You should have balance, which is something that to this day I am still trying to teach myself!
3. Hire a knowledgeable trainer, at least in the beginning, to set you on the right path.
Do you believe in overtraining?
Yes I do.
What are your thoughts on steroids?
-Have nothing against those who take them as it is a personal choice.
-DO have something against those who take them and then compete in drug tested shows.
-Do not use them myself, and never will. Always wanted to see how far I can take my body on my hard work and genetics alone.
-I feel that anyone who DOES use them should be regularly screened by their physician.
-I feel that while their abuse is unhealthy and dangerous, the media and public have demonized them to a degree they do not deserve to be.
-Would like to teach as many young athletes and bodybuilders a way of reaching their physical goals without needlessly resorting to taking them.
If you could go back in a point of your life would you do anything different?
As much as I love bodybuilding I was at one time a very gifted baseball player, and would not mind going back and pursuing the “Major Leagues” with the same passion I have pursued my current career.
What is your favourite picture online of yourself and why?
This is my favourite photo simply because it was the realization of a dream…to appear on the cover of a major bodybuilding publication. And to have this occur as a drug free athlete!
