Who do you look up to?

I really admire people like Miryah Jade Scott, who have careers and a life outside of fitness but still really balance competing and fitness industry with a career and friends/family, I really admire that. I love the fitness industry and I love competing, but I love having a balanced life and normal life as well. It’s really easy to get lost in this industry and consumed by it, it becomes an obsession.

Please explain a little about “Get ready girls

GRG is a program both online and in person to help women achieve their fitness goals and change their life in a positive, female oriented environment. There is a lot of information on my site getreadygirls.ca so check it out!

Do you eat any of what people call junk food? If so how often?

Of course, I am human! I have a treat meal once a week of whatever I like so usually once a week if it was a great diet week :)

Do you drink alcohol? If so how often?

Yep! I do, in my offseason, red wine and I are very good friends. I would say a glass a week is the most I will have, if it’s a holiday like Christmas time or if I am on a vacation (which is rare, I usually travel for shows and work) I will indulge! Work hard, play hard!

What would an example be of your diet you eat day to day?

offseason:

I eat 6 meals per day, it would look something like this

1. protein shake and oatmeal
2. eggwhites, celery, almond butter
3. chicken salad carbs (yams usually)
4. white fish and veggies
5. Turkey chili
6. post workout: Shake, cottage cheese before bed if hungry.

If you could pick only 3 different body parts to put on your body from 3 other people, what would they be and why?

hmmm. I don’t know, I honestly believe in everyone working to THEIR own best body so I can’t answer that! I think it’s dangerous to idolize other people’s physiques to a point where you wish you had their “abs” or “glutes” because let’s face it we are born with OUR genetics and you have to embrace it. I work hard and love every part of my body!

What are your 1st and 2nd biggest achievements in life so far?

1) balancing my business, student life and fitness competitions successfully!
2) Winning my pro card in 2011

Do you ever just feel like giving it all up?

Never. I do wish that I had dieted a little less extremem in my past so my body wasn’t as sensitive as it is but it’s not permanent and I can fix it :)

So what do you plan on winning next?

A WBFF Pro show, I really would love a world title one day!

What is your main goal in life?

Truthfully my main goal is to help others live a fit lifestyle and help them achieve their goals, if I could help people achieve their fitness goals so that their life changes even HALF as much as mine I will be happy!

What is your favourite picture of yourself at the moment?

I like this picture I think it’s tasteful and its my offseason body weight, not too ripped, a more marketable look !
